GO Sim Shop chassis, PCs and rig assembly
What the Warranty Covers:
GO Sim Shop warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship during the warranty period. If a product proves to be defective in material or workmanship during the warranty period, GO Sim Shop will, at its sole option, repair or replace the product. The replacement unit will be covered by the balance of the time remaining on the customer's original limited warranty.
How Long the Warranty is Effective:
- Sim Rigs: The warranty is effective for 1 year for products purchased for consumer use, and features a 90-day parts and labor warranty for commercial use. This limited warranty begins on the original date of purchase.
- PCs (Residential/Personal Use): The original PC supplied as part of a residential system is covered for 1 year from the date of delivery.
- PCs (Commercial/Public Use): The original PC supplied with a commercially operated system is covered for 6 months from the date of delivery.
- Rig Assembly, Workmanship, and Integration: During the applicable warranty period, GO Sim Shop warrants its original workmanship in assembling and integrating the simulator. Covered workmanship includes structural assembly, installation of originally supplied components, wiring and cable installation, hardware integration, and original system configuration.
Service Procedures:
Purchasers must contact GO Sim Shop via email to determine the problem and service procedures. Original date of purchase and proof of purchase may be requested. GO Sim Shop will either repair or replace the product at our option at no charge during the limited warranty period. All replaced/repaired products and parts become the property of GO Sim Shop and must be returned. Transport to and from the closest service center will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
What is Not Covered:
- Any product on which the serial number has been defaced, modified, or removed.
- Damage, deterioration, or malfunction resulting from accidents, misuse, neglect, fire, water, lightning, or acts of nature.
- Unauthorized product modification or failure to follow instructions supplied with the product.
- Repair or attempted repair by anyone not authorized by GO Sim Shop.
- Any damage to the product due to shipment.
- Causes external to the product, such as electric power fluctuations or failure.
- Normal wear and tear.
- Failure of the owner to install the product as per instructions in the User Guide.
- For PCs: Software issues, operating-system corruption, viruses or malware, customer-installed software, unauthorized hardware modifications, overclocking, physical damage, liquid damage, and power-related damage.
- For Rig Assembly: Problems caused by changes, modifications, repairs, relocations, disassembly, reassembly, installations, wiring changes, or configuration changes performed after delivery by the customer or a third party when that work caused or materially contributed to the claimed failure.
Limitation of Implied Warranties:
THERE ARE NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WHICH EXTEND BEYOND THE DESCRIPTION CONTAINED HEREIN INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
Exclusion of Damages:
GO SIM SHOP'S LIABILITY IS LIMITED TO THE COST OF REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT OF THE PRODUCT & SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:
- Damage to other property caused by any defects in the product.
- Damages based upon inconvenience, loss of use of the product, loss of time, loss of profits, loss of business opportunity, loss of goodwill, interference with business relationships, or other commercial loss, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Any other damages, whether incidental, consequential, or otherwise.
- Any claim against the customer by any other party.
Effect of Local Law: This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from locality to locality. Some localities do not allow limitations on implied warranties and/or do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.
Hardware installed in an assembled rig (wheel base, pedals, monitors) keeps its own manufacturer warranty.
What isn't covered
Manufacturer warranties generally don't cover damage from misuse, accidents or crashes, improper installation, modifications, or normal wear. Racing parts used in competition are often excluded. Check the product page or ask us about a specific part.
Warranty or return?
If the item is unused and you're within 30 days of receiving it, a return is usually simpler. See Shipping and returns.
If it arrived damaged or stopped working because of a defect, that's a warranty claim. Contact us and we'll take it from there.
